Established in 1970, Fort Pierce Central High School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular programs and activities to students. It offers academic and vocational classes, technical preparation academies and dual enrollment classes. The school additionally offers a general curriculum, and honors, gifted, advanced placement, dual enrollment, exceptional student education programs. It also provides a ninth grade academic preparation program, technical preparation academies and a performance-based diploma program. The school provides a variety of student clubs and organizations, and competitive sports for males and females in three categories, including freshmen, junior varsity and varsity.
