History
Our facility opened in 1973 with the goal of helping sick, injured or orphaned native Florida wildlife and migratory birds. We are the only rehabilitation facility in our area. We strive to educate our community on ways to live with and help wildlife and provide the highest quality care to the patients that come through our door.
Specialties
The Florida Wildlife Hospital is a non-profit organization open 365 days a year to admit all native Florida wildlife and migratory birds that are . We care for more than 5000 patient per year on average. We never charge for our services but recieve no government funding. Our doors stay open because of donations, memberships and grants. We are here to help wildlife in need. Sometimes that means educating the public and other times that means caring for injured, sick or orphaned animals.
