First State Bank of the Florida Keys is the oldest bank in Monroe County. The firm is a financial institution that provides personal and business banking including checking/savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, loans and merchant services. First State Bank has more than 10 branches and in excess of 30 automated teller machines on Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Summerland, Sugarloaf, Big Pine, Key West and Stock islands. Two of the bank s branches are located in Winn Dixie Supermarkets. First State Banks are the only banks on Sugarloaf and Stock islands. The bank was founded in 1955 as the Key West State Bank.
