History
The First Presbyterian Church houses Miami's oldest congregation, organized in April 1896. The congregation first worshiped in a tent. Henry M. Flagler donated the money for a permanent church building in 1900. The current church structure was built in 1949 in what is now the Brickell neighborhood. The original Flagler church was moved to the new church location on 609 Brickell and is now used as the chapel. Come and visit during office hours to see a part of Miami history!
