Fernandez The Bull opened their kitchen for the first time in 1985 armed with a concept of bringing great tasting, homemade Cuban food. Raquel Fernandez Along with most of her family, immigrated to America during the Mariel boat lift in 1980 from Cardenas, Cuba. Luis Fernandez had immigrated to the United States years earlier in the 60's and had been in the hospitality industry for many years. Raquel and Luis got married in 1983 and in 1985 opened up their first location, a small little place that with only six tables. through the years their has been continued growth and are very excited with our new key Largo addition.
