EverBank Field is a stadium located in Jacksonville, Florida. EverBank Field currently houses the NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars. The stadium opened as Jacksonville Municipal Stadium on August 18, 2005 with the construction taking just over a year and a half at a cost of just over $121 million, $182 million in present day dollars. In 2010 EverBank signed a naming rights deal. The stadium was built to accommodate the new expansion team.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have yet to win a Super Bowl Championship and are members of the South Division of the American Football Conference within the NFL. They are known by their team colors consisting of black, teal, gold and white. The current owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars is Shahid Khan.
The stadium currently holds 67,246 fans. There are 88 luxury suites, one super suite and over 11,200 seats at the club level. Currently, it was the 23rd largest stadium in the NFL. EverBank Field is also a great venue for other events such as the Monster Energy AMA Supercross and the Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam. The stadium also hosted the Super Bowl in 2005 with an attendance of 78,125.
