The Down Under Dive Club (DUDC) is a well-established diving community located in Melbourne, FL, along the beautiful east central coast of Florida. With a history dating back to 1984, this enthusiastic group of divers, consisting of about 75 members, is dedicated to promoting safe and organized dive events, fostering a comfortable social setting for all, and encouraging environmental responsibility within the diving community.
Offering a diverse range of diving experiences, DUDC organizes various types of dives, including drift dives, wreck dives, shore dives, live-aboards, spring dives, and even shark dives. Their membership includes individuals of all ages, from 11 to 65, with certification levels ranging from new Open Water divers to Instructors. Monthly meetings, held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, provide opportunities for stimulating conversation, fascinating guest speakers, and the chance to win door prizes. As they gradually resume routines, DUDC now offers both virtual and in-person attendance options for their meetings, ensuring flexibility and inclusivity for all diving enthusiasts.
