The Dante B. Fascell Port of Miami-Dade is one of the largest cruise home ports in the world. It is owned and operated by the Miami-Dade Seaport Department, which is administered by the Miami-Dade County in Florida. The port serves more than 4 million passengers annually. It is an island port that is spread across an area of over 600 acres. The port features a nearly 10-foot stainless steel globe. As one of the leading container ports in the United States, it transports approximately 7 million tons of cargo every year. The Dante B.
