I did a series of 10 private lessons with Louis. He was a great one on one teacher. They are typically 45-60 mins. I never did go to a social event. The correct shoe also makes a difference.

Tradisyon Lakou Lakay Inc is a nonprofit arts and culture organization based in Miami, FL. They are dedicated to fostering a positive image of Haitian arts and culture while empowering youth to become agents of positive social change. Through their camp programs, children and youth have the opportunity to create, collaborate, and embrace their heritage, fostering an appreciation for arts and culture. They also provide platforms for emerging artists to showcase their work through their Concert Series and Haitian Folkloric Dance classes. Tradisyon Lakou Lakay Inc is committed to making a difference in the community and welcomes partnerships and donations to support their programs. Tradisyon Lakou Lakay Inc, also known as TLL, is a Haitian Creole term that translates to "Hometown Traditions." The organization aims to create a sense of community and collective strength, providing a space for various gatherings. They rely on the support of private donors and volunteers to set up displays, provide materials for costumes, and chaperone field trips. TLL programs are made possible in part by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Florida Department of Cultural Affairs, and City of Miami Board Commissioners.
