The eight-acre Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park features a sleek urban design, two interactive fountains, a dog run, a kiosk with restrooms, and a Pavilion building with restrooms. The park's ultra-modern playground combines video games with aerobic exercise. It also has flexible perimeter seating that can accommodate a variety of programming and performances. Curtis Hixon Park utilizes reclaimed water for irrigation and LED lighting. A segment of the Riverwalk runs through the park connecting the David Straz Performing Arts Center to the Glazer Children's Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art.
