Established in 1931, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that employs a staff of more than 3,500 sworn officers, civilians and community volunteers. - It is part of a countywide communication center that dispatches emergency calls to local police, fire, medical ambulances and first responders.
