Community Partnership for Children is an organization called upon to help children who have been abused or neglected, by finding them short-term housing, assessing their individual situation, assigning them a Case Manager, creating a Case Plan, and transitioning them into safe, long-term care -- whether it be with their immediate family, loving relatives, a guardian, licensed foster care, or an independent living facility. Because every child deserves a loving home, Community Partnership for Children coordinates preventative and early intervention services that enable children to remain with their families. When a child must be removed from the family, we strive to maintain them in the least restrictive environment available, usually with a relative or in a foster home, until the child can be reunited with their family. Community Partnership for Children promotes sibling unification which enables brothers and sisters to share their lives together while in foster care. Community Partnership for Children works with many local providers to provide child protection. Our system-of-care overview shows the relationship between our partners. Through the efforts and involvement of the community, we are able to keep children safe and build strong families.
