The Lauderhill Fire-Rescue Department s mission is to provide fire, rescue and emergency medical service. The department provides a number of services, such as paramedic, fire suppression, fire prevention, fire investigation, hazardous materials and search and rescue. The department operates three stations and responds to nearly 1,000 calls per month, including an average of 25 fires, 700 emergency medical services/rescues, 12 hazardous materials investigations and 75 other service calls. The department conducts a variety of community education programs and has career exploration group programs for young people.
