The Children's Medical Services (CMS) provides a family-centered and coordinated system of care for children with special health care needs. Its network of providers links community-based health care services with university-based medical specialty programs and includes prevention and intervention services. The program also provides primary; medical, specialty and long-term care services for minors. It specializes in treating patients with chronic physical, developmental, behavioral and emotional conditions. The Children's Medical Services program is administered by the Florida Department of Health and is a Title V agency.
