CBT Pinellas is owned and operated by Beth Lewis. Beth is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida Board Certified Clinical Supervisor (MH6890) for registered interns. After receiving her Master's degree from Nova Southeastern University in Mental Health Counselors, Beth completed an internship with The Center for Rational Living, Inc., Tampa Bay's leading Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and earned her primary certificate in the clinical application of REBT from the Albert Ellis Institute. Beth's training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) began in 2009 while managing the outpatient mental health care program at PEMHS, Inc., Pinellas County, Florida. Beth continues to participate in online DBT training and DBT research projects through Behavioral Tech, home of DBT's creator, Dr. Marsha Linehan. With over 20 years of experience, Beth implements highly effective, evidence-based clinical treatments while providing stellar mental health counseling for every client.
