Barre classes have been popular for a few years now, as have pole dancing classes. CABARRET combines the toning of barre with sexy cardio to get the best of both. CABARRET is a new dance fitness class, started in Miami by former professional dancer and choreographer Nicole LaBonde. Nicole felt the barre classes at various gyms and fitness studios were not really getting the best strength and conditioning work possible from their clients, and were missing the mark on the point of barre work! CABARRET progresses through the barre exercises like a traditional ballet class (plies, tendus, etc.), with a heavy emphasis on abs and butt, as well as blasts of leg and arm work. In CABARRET class, we know what the point of doing barre exercises is- to get you ready to dance! While we strengthen and tone, we prepare our muscles to really move! Our dances get your heart rate up, improve coordination and balance, and are fun and sexy!
