Johanna Calderon, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
"Johanna Calderon is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and advanced practice registered nurse. With 12 years of experience in the medical field, she is proficient in emergency medicine, clinical research, gastroenterology, and colorectal/general surgery. Johanna is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Johanna graduated with a Master of Science in the Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner program from South University in West Palm Beach, where she also received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Previously, Johanna received an associate degree in Medellin, Colombia, and worked as a paramedic, then moved to Miami in 2011 and obtained an Emergency Medical Technician Certificate, followed by an associate degree in nursing. While obtaining her associate degree in nursing, she worked in both clinical research and gastroenterology. In 2017, Johanna moved to West Palm Beach and joined Baptist Health Endoscopy Center at Flagler as a charge nurse/assistant director for four years. Later, in 2020, she worked at JFK North Campus in the emergency department, the gastroenterology procedure center, and in pain management, as well as at Gastro Health. After obtaining her Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification, she joined Tenet Health Physician Services in colorectal/general surgery. Her various roles included preoperative assessment, diagnosis, postoperative care, treatment, medication management, imaging, and laboratory analysis under a doctor’s supervision. Besides English, Johanna speaks Spanish, and her goal is to learn Portuguese. Outside of work, she is a devoted mother of two girls and loyal to her family and friends. She enjoys rollerblading, outdoor activities, traveling, loves going to the beach, and taking road trips."
