F. W. Buchholz High School is a secondary school offering educational instruction to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students and over 100 classroom teachers. It offers two magnet programs, including the Academy of Finance and the Academy of Entrepreneurship. The school comprises a credit union known as the Bobcat Branch, which is division of the Florida Credit Union, and operated by students in the Academy of Finance, and the Spirit Spot, a retail outlet whose products are marketed by the Academy of Entrepreneurship. The school has a Japanese pop culture club and features its own chapter of Students Working Against Tobacco. It has various sports teams, including basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, volleyball, wrestling and weightlifting. F. W. Buchholz High School is a part of the Alachua County School District and is located in Gainesville, Fla.
