Art and Antique Studio is a small gallery located in north Melbourne which used to be the downtown area of Eau Gallie before the two cities merged. It is referred to as the Eau Gallie Arts District ( EGAD ). It is home to several other galleries, the Brevard Museum of Art, shops and businesses, restaurants and a Saturday Farmer's Market. Every first Friday of the month, the area galleries host a Moonlight Art Walk. Besides the wonderful artwork, you will find wine and cheese plus live music as you stroll from gallery to gallery.There are 12 artists who are regular members, involved in this co-op gallery and 10 more consignment artists, with a range of mediums, pottery, watercolors, oil paintings, pastels, photography, jewelry, glass, and gourds, as well as antiques. Many of our artists are award winning and signature members of art societies.The Gallery is also a working studio for the artists and provides workshops and classes from time to time. Our artists change out artwork every two months to keep the look fresh and exciting. We alternate between 2-D and 3-D, so three is something new every month. We feature an artist or group each month in the front room of the gallery. The featured artist has the opportunity to showcase a large collection of their work. Guest artists are often featured.
