Chefs Shaun Doty and Lance Gummere created Bantam & Biddy as a southern diner serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to patrons of Ansley Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. The doors of this first location opened on October 26, 2012. Their mission was to provide customers with a casual, family-friendly eatery featuring regional, all-natural and pastured poultry. Comfort foods, a large Gluten-free menu, Handcrafted Cocktails, Espresso, and Fresh-Squeezed Juices combine in one relaxed setting for a new model of the southern diner. Amelia Island is our second franchise location, and we’re loving it! Being part of such a wonderful community surrounded by the natural beauty of a beach town, a charming historic downtown district, and countless friendly folks makes this city an easy home for us.
