I would rate it #1 for a family vacation. Lots of Free museums close by. Lots of outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, fishing and biking. Good restaurants and grocery shopping close by.

Huge deep beach! Big waves too! I really liked this beach as it's so big and clean. The parking near main marketplace was reasonable and close. However, I didn't see any rest/change rooms...

I love the beach and the area but the parking situation is garbage. They use a buggy app that's slow and doesn't load. It was so much nicer before you had to worry about getting a ticket.
