Owner/Director Leonard Mardis and his talented staff want to share their love of the arts with you. Classes at various levels – beginner, intermediate, advanced or recreational – are available for those interested in professional dance training. Youngsters may enroll in a combo class (ballet/tap); pre-teens can choose from jazz, modern, ballet, pointe, hop-top, tap, African, lyrical and liturgical; and adult-level classes specialize in lyrical/ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and African. Mr. Mardis' career began in the 1980s, studying, teaching, performing and choreographing numerous plays, galas, competitions and entertainment productions across four continents – North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. A dance instructor within the Brandon community for over five years, this Director of United Nations of Dance brings 20+ years of passion, dedication and professionalism to the Tampa Bay area. Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable. Prices are determined on a monthly basis, based on the number of sessions students register for. An unlimited class option is also available, as well as private lessons (tailored for individuals, couples or small groups). This prestigious academy boasts two oversized studios, also available for rent.
