Academy at the Lakes, established in 1992, offers academic programs from kindergarten through grade 12. The school conducts admission tests for students entering grades six to 11. It organizes college counseling for sophomores and juniors, as well as offers merit scholarships to high school students. The school also offers various cocurricular activities, such as golf and basketball. Lower division students receive 90 minutes per week of instruction in physical education. Preschool students can opt for physical education for one quarter of the academic year, including games and fitness classes. Academy at the Lakes is located in Land O Lakes, Fla.
