The Poarch Creek Tribal Police Department is an integral part of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, descendants of the original Creek Nation. Living in and around the reservation in Poarch, Alabama for almost 200 years, they strive to protect their inherent rights as a sovereign American Indian tribe and promote their culture and beliefs.
With a focus on economic and social self-sufficiency, the tribe works to maintain good relations with other Indian tribes and units of government while preserving their traditional Creek arts, language, and customs through cultural education programs and events.
