The US-ASEAN Business Council is one of the premiere advocacy organizations for U.S. corporations operating within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). ASEAN represents nearly 600 million people throughout the world. The council's members include some of the largest U.S. companies working in ASEAN, as well as companies in Southeast Asia. Its members can gain insight into regional opportunities, as well as receive individual support for ASEAN operations from the council. The US-ASEAN Business Council's working groups include Information Communication Technology, Customs, Corporate Citizenship, Defense and Energy, among others.
