Since 1983, The Center for International Private Enterprise has been working to strengthen democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reforms. Based in Washington, D.C., it is one of the four main institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy. The enterprise organizes programs on a number of topics, including anti-corruption, advocacy, business association, corporate/democratic governance, access to information and informal sector/property rights. The Center for International Private Enterprise works with business leaders, policymakers and journalists.
