The Delaware Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, also known as DVR, helps people with physical and mental disabilities to obtain and retain employment. The division allows individuals to work with trained vocational rehabilitation counselors. It also serves as an independent living program for people with disabilities to function in the community. The division offers vocational assessment, employment planning and follow-up services. Its disability determination services unit develops and processes the disability claims of residents. The division additionally offers the Consortium Leadership and Independence through Managing Benefits (CLIMB) program. The Delaware Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is governed by the state of Delaware.
