The editors of Brewpub Magazine voted Hill Brewery & Restaurant as the Best Brewpub in the Mid-Atlantic region. The company takes its name from a historic Revolutionary War landmark in Delaware, where Gens. George Washington and Lafayette battled against Gen. Charles Cornwallis to ensure American liberty. It was founded in 1994 when two award-winning home brewers, Kevin Finn and Mark Edelson, teamed up with Kevin Davies, an experienced professional in restaurant operations.
