History
The Marshall Steam Museum is operated by the Friends of Auburn Heights (a nonprofit organization established in 2004) and is dedicated to educating the public about Delaware's industrial history and the impact of steam technology. The Friends own and maintain the Marshall family's extraordinary collection of antique automobiles along with the Auburn Valley Railroad.

The Friends of Auburn Heights operates and maintain the Marshall Steam Museum, home to the world's largest operating collection of Stanley steam cars, a 1/8-size operating railroad that circles the Auburn Heights estate and so much more. Visitors take a step back in time to discover life at the dawn of the automotive age.
