Formed in 1970, Delaware Department of Labor is responsible for helping people with jobs, monetary benefits, workplace protections and labor market information. Located in Wilmington, Del., the department operates through the divisions of employment and training, unemployment insurance, industrial affairs and vocational rehabilitation. Its employment and training division provides a variety of one-stop employment and training services, including occupations skills training programs, veterans' services assistance, Case Management and foreign labor certification program. The department also promotes and develops the welfare of the wage earners of the state of Delaware.
