The Arc of Delaware is one of the largest community-based organizations for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the United States. Located in Wilmington, Del., it promotes and improves supports and services for disabled people by making sure that every individual and family affected in Delaware has access to the information, advocacy and skills needed to participate as active citizens and active members of the community. The organization's employment services program develops career opportunities and provides on-the-job support based on needs. In collaboration with the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council, The Arc of Delaware brings together information on affordable housing options, including independent residential, supervised residential, housing support programs and other housing help.
