Welcome to ICEInternational Credential Evaluators, Inc ( ICES ) is a non-profit public service organization that identifies the U.S. equivalence of foreign educational credentials. For more than 20 years, more than 1, 000 educational institutions, employers, and professional licensing boards have trusted ICES with foreign credential evaluation. ICES evaluation reports provide accurate, easy-to-read information in a timely manner.ICES's evaluation staff is highly trained in research and document verification, and they will provide you with fast, attentive service throughout the evaluation process. In addition to authoring a collection of books on the educational systems of various countries, the staff is active in several professional associations, including NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the European Association for International Education ( EAIE ), the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals ( NAGAP ), and the International Education Association of South Africa ( IEASA ).ICES is a charter member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services ( NACES ), an organization incorporated in Delaware in 1987 to establish and maintain professional standards for private credential evaluation services.ICES houses a reference library of more than 35, 000 volumes related to international education, as well as more than 350, 000 sample educational credentials. Our resources and experience enable us to accurately verify the official status of educational institutions and the authenticity of educational credentials.College and university personnel use our evaluation reports to make decisions concerning admission and placement of potential students. State licensing boards use our reports to determine eligibility for professional licensure. Employers use our reports to determine if job applicants are qualified, and immigration attorneys use them to document a client's educational qualifications.Individuals may request an evaluation on their own behalf for their personal use.
