In 1986, carrying on the family tradition that his grandfather began 65 years before, Rob Valenti, Bob's son, joined the business. In 1997 Rob and his cousins purchaed a Volkswagen dealership in Groton Ct. In 2002 the Volkswagen dealership became two with one dealership being located in Old Saybrook on Middlesex turnpike and the other being located on the Auto Mall complex in Mystic making that location a consumer friendly experience offing Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Volkswagen all in one location.
