Trinity opened its doors in 1876, some 20 years after the first recorded Episcopal service in Collinsville. Originally located on Maple Avenue, the church was moved in the mid 1960s to its present site, chosen for its location and ample space. In 1991, a new expansion was dedicated. In addition to its services and numerous spiritual ministries, Trinity is heavily involved in the community. The church hosts Canton Food Bank and Canton Connections - a non-profit after-school program. Its annual Quality Street Fair raises funds for those organizations. The church is also home to the Trinity Nursery School.
