The Northwest Connecticut YMCA Torrington facility has a fitness center, basketball court, aerobics/yoga studio, two racquetball courts, residence facility, 25-yard main pool, men's locker room with steam room, women's locker room with sauna, boys and girl s locker rooms, family locker room and a childcare center. Along with the Torrington, Conn., facility, the Northwest Connecticut YMCA has a facility in Winstead, Conn. The Northwest Connecticut YMCA has been serving Torrington, Winsted and the surrounding communities since 1898.
