An Irish American pub and restaurant, The Black Sheep has become a popular place to go for good atmosphere with some bangers and mash or some lamb shepherds pie with a potato parsnip crust. According to manager Jason Koenighaus, it is the only place around doing the Shepherds Pie with lamb.
Located right downtown, in summer one will find patrons crowding the tables in the enclosed outdoor seating area, but in winter customers enjoy the cozy fireplace. It is like walking into a deep cavern with delicious smells and a high-end decor.
More of a hangout for adults, Wednesday night is karaoke from 9:30 to 12:30 and Thursday night is wine night.
The Black Sheep is also happy to sponsor events for local charities.
