First founded in 1925, the current grounds of St. Therese Church date to 1959, when the congregation was rebuilt following a devastating fire. Today, the church is decorated by 16 unique stained glass windows, the only in the world to depict the life of St. Therese (1873-1897), also known as "The Little Flower of Jesus," who was canonized by the Catholic Church in 1925. Led by pastor Timothy A. Meehan since 1991, St. Therese holds mass throughout the week, offers numerous programs for adults and children, and provides pre-K and nursery school programs.
