St. Mary of Czestochowa was founded at the start of the 20th century by Polish immigrants living in Middletown. The church retains many of its traditions, including a weekly Polish Mass and devotions. Weekday Mass is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:30am. Saturday Mass is at 8am. A Saturday vigil Mass begins at 5pm (in spring and summer) and at 4pm during Daylight Savings Time. A Sunday Mass is conducted in Polish at 7:30am; later Masses are conducted in English at 9:30am and 11am.
St. Mary of Czestochowa has a youth program that meets monthly for discussions and games. There's also a prayer group and "Why Catholics?" discussion group for adults.
