History
Pietro Scaglia purchased the original farm in 1908. His daughter, Theresa married Sayre Rose who was one of the 7 original USDA cooperators for new blueberry plant experimental crosses during the 1950's. Sayre had a stroke in 1959 and their only son , Henry, took over the farm. Under his stewardship the farm expanded to include strawberries, pears, apples. pumpkins, raspberries and blackberries. Upon his death in 2008, his wife of 29 years, Sandra, continues his vision in providing the public with the best pick-your-own fruit, vegetables and Christmas trees.
