The Ridgefield Historical Society offers visitors a rich history of Ridgefield's native grounds and people through community outreach, publications and exhibits, oral presentations, workshops and document collections. The society is housed in the 1714 David Scott house, a historical property that was moved to its present location on Sunset Lane for preservation reasons. Visitors can learn about local history, search archives, utilize the meeting room or chat with the town historian. The society welcome sponsors, donors and volunteers to support its mission to preserve the town's history.
