Visitors to Peckham Park can enjoy little league baseball games in the summer and ice-skating in the winter. The park is located near the intersection of Route 147 and Route 157, and features a large playground with a rock climbing wall, jungle gym and several slides. A pavilion provides a covered area with picnic tables. Guests can also find a skate park, basketball court, soccer fields and baseball fields. In winter, ponds surrounding the park freeze over creating ice skating rinks for families to enjoy.

It's a pretty nice park. A very relaxing area. Great for toddlers. There is even a skatepark & baseball fields. Nice area to read while your kids play.

East Hampton Youth Park

The Amagansett Youth Park features an array of activities for kindergarten through twelfth grade students. There are two tennis courts, a full-size basketball court, a track, a skate boarding ring, a playground and a roller skating rink. In the clubhouse there is a play area for small children. Run by the East Hampton Town Parks & Recreation Department, programs are held at the park such as youth basketball, tennis, and skateboard clinics, toddler arts and youth chess. A walking club for senior citizens uses the track.

Middlefield Park & Recreation

The Health Department is located in the Community Center and is responsible for protecting and alerting residents of health-related hazards. The department inspects restaurants to ensure health codes are being followed, and investigates possible health violations, including water testing, lead paint and other complaints. The department also requires permits for new construction, including septic, pools, wells and additions.

Smith Memorial Park

This 80-acre park has two areas. The upper area lies directly behind Moody School, 300 Country Club Road and has a lighted softball field, soccer field and a Little League field. The lower area can be accessed via walking trails from the upper portion of the park or by a separate entrance off Country Club Road just west of the school. This area has a picnic pavilion, a Little League baseball field, a Youth League soccer field, a large playground and handicapped-accessible walking paths.
