Orange Hills Country Club is a public 18-hole golf course known for its gently rolling hills and smartly designed layout. The facility features 6,499 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 72.3 and it has a slope rating of 126 on blue grass.
Designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish, ASGCA, the Orange Hills Golf Course opened in 1921. In 1955, Walter H. Smith became the sole owner. His son, Walter E. Smith (or Bud, as he is generally known), began handling practically all of the managerial affairs and completed expansion of the course to 18 holes in 1961.
Today, the club is still a family affair with Bud's son, Jud, remaining as superintendent and his daughter, Judy, running the clubhouse and golf operation.
