Get your compass and bring your bottle of water; this park is a hidden treasure. Starting at the base of Talcott Mountain and sloping upwards, the area reaches to an open meadow on the top. With permission, camping is allowed. An entrance to the area can be found on Hazen Rd. Call or visit the Town of Avon Department of Recreation and Parks for more information. The park has no trails or markers and is completely undeveloped.
