History
Paul Ramunni opened the museum in October 2011 located in separate renovated spaces attached to his personal residence in North Canaan Connecticut. In January 2017 additional space was renovated to create a separate studio and showroom for new and used accordions for sale. Our goal is to find and save any and all old accordions and memorabilia so that people interested in accordions, especially children, will learn to play and enjoy what many people have experienced over the last 200 years with accordions.
Specialties
A showcase of over 600 beautiful accordions plus a studio offering accordion repairs. Privately-operated, NEACMC displays, buys and sells hand-crafted accordions. Over 10,000 pieces of sheet music and accordion-related books are also for sale.
