Bobby and Christine Davis were born again in 1964, and it inspired them to lay the groundwork for Miracle Faith World Outreach Church. They fasted for three days and nights in 1967 and held prayer meetings at Christine's mother's Stamford home, later adding Bible study months. When they outgrew their space, the pastors bought a three-family house and converted the basement to a meeting place.
The church continued to grow, and one year later moved to a Presbyterian church in Springdale, before buying a building and parsonage at 91-93 Hope Street in Stamford. Three other churches were formed in Bridgeport and Miracle Faith World Outreach sold its Hope Street property in 1987, when the Bridgeport and Stamford fellowships merged. In 1998, the church moved to its current home, a brand new facility in Monroe.
