The Middletown Press is the principal daily newspaper covering Middletown and the surrounding area. It's owned by the Journal-Register Company, which also owns the New Haven Register, the Register Citizen and other news outlets. Offices of the Middletown Press are on the fourth floor of Main Street Market.
