A branch of the Hamden Public Library System, the Brundage Branch on Circular Avenue is named for former library director Louise A. Brundage. The branch has four computers with Internet access that are used almost 4,000 times a year, and offers a storytime program for preschool children on Mondays.
About 23,000 items were circulated in 2009 during 16,000 visits to the branch. The branch also is home to the Highwood Parents and Communities for Kids (PACK) Program. Aimed at children ages six to 10, PACK offers services for both children and parents to provide after-school programs that are both fun and educational.
