Lemont Aircraft Corporation, also known as LAC, is a designer and developer of high-speed rotor systems. The reverse velocity rotor, or RVR, invented by Harold E. Lemont, has been receiving attention from the aircraft industry in program development for high-speed rotorcrafts. The RVR, tested at the NASA Ames Wind Tunnel, flew 380 knots with L/D of 27 at a disk loading of 8 pounds per square feet.
