Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center
The Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center (CPAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and support to families with children between the ages of 0 and 26 who have chronic illnesses or disabilities. With over 20 years of experience, CPAC's mission is to empower and educate parents as effective advocates for their children with disabilities by offering training and information on special education laws and rights. CPAC's knowledgeable staff, comprised of parents or relatives of children with disabilities, provides personalized assistance and immediate support to those who reach out. In addition to working directly with families, CPAC conducts workshops for school personnel, trainee teachers, and other service providers throughout the state to enhance their understanding and ability to serve parents effectively. Committed to representing the interests of parents and families, CPAC's board members and staff actively participate in various state-level committees and organizations. Generated from the website
