Parks Department Maintenance Division Office is governed by the city of New Haven, Conn., and is a part of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Trees. It provides a variety of physical and recreational activities to promote the health and well-being of families and individuals. The parks, recreation and trees department offers various sports and recreational activities, including swimming, lifeguard training courses, aerobics and fitness sessions, and basketball, volleyball, football, tennis and softball instruction. Additionally, it organizes summer camps and various special events that include baseball clinics, Valentine's Day card making workshops, vacation camp, and art and craft making.
